Red HEROS H10 firefighting helmet without ventilation openings, a lightweight choice for wildfire and technical rescue crews.
The HEROS H10 in red is a firefighting helmet built on the principle of maximum protection with minimum use of materials. It is certified to EN 16471, EN 16473, EN 1385, EN 397, EN 1078 and ISO 16073-5:2019. This version has no ventilation openings and does not comply with EN 12492.
The weight is approx. 800 g (without face visor, without neck protection), and a single helmet shell adjusts to sizes from 48 to 67.
This unit is configured with a textile head part, blind covers and a chin strap, and carries the E2 / ISO16073 marking.
Key features
- Lightweight protection — It offers the same protection in terms of mechanical stress as the three-quarter and full-shell helmets in the HEROS line, but weighs noticeably less.
- Robust shell — The shell is heat and flame resistant, extremely hard and yet shatter-resistant, and together with the energy-absorbing interior fittings it protects well against falling rocks or branches.
- Tool-free interior — The interior fittings can be attached, removed and adjusted quickly and easily without tools, which is particularly useful when cleaning the helmet.
- Moulded-in colour — With the colour moulded into the shell, scratches are hardly noticeable, and the shell can be customised with various helmet stripes or labels.
- Optional eye protection — An optional integrable eye protection visor, transparent or tinted, protects against larger particles and splinters or, depending on the tint, against strong incidence of light.
- Optional multi-adapter — The optional multi-adapter allows different components, such as clip-on hearing protection, to be attached at the side.
- Lamp and position light — The Rosenbauer helmet lamp HL3 Ex can be mounted in the centre, and an optional position light PL1 on the rear increases visibility.
- Mask compatibility — A wildfire mask with integrable particle filter can be easily combined with the helmet.
