Active electronic communications headset on a neckband, with a left-mounted boom microphone, for police, security, military and other professionals working in demanding tactical situations.
The Sordin Supreme T2 CC is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications, built on the SordinFLEX modular design platform. This version comes in Tan with a neckband suspension, memory foam cushions and the microphone mounted on the left.
This configuration is rated SNR 28 dB under EN 352 (H 29 dB / M 26 dB / L 21 dB) and NRR 23 dB under ANSI S3.19. The SordinHEAR2 audio system offers four audio profiles, Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off, each confirmed by voice feedback, and sound level limitation holds the level to a maximum of 82 dB(A).
It runs on a single AA battery (1.5V), with the Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable battery also supported, and gives 120 hours of operating time on a Varta Ultra lithium cell. It is immersion tested to 2 metres, salt water tested and tested in accordance with MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G. The fixed downlead connects the headset to a PTT, radio or other communication device.

- Noise-compensating microphone — The adjustable boom microphone, mounted on the left, compensates for noise to keep voice clear in noisy environments.
- Short decay time — Short decay time restores normal sound instantly after a shot, while harmful noise is compressed and harmless ambient sound is amplified.
- Single-battery power — A single AA battery powers the headset, with auto shutdown after 4 h and a voice warning when 10% of battery remains.
- Dual protection — Dual protection is listed at SNR:40 / NRR:35, for use in high-noise environments.
- Slim cup design — Slim cups fit both left-handed and right-handed shooters and wearers of eyeglasses.
- SordinFLEX modularity — The SordinFLEX platform lets users reconfigure the suspension without tools, with headband, neckband and helmet-mounted ARC Rails or Rear ARC Rails models available.
- Tested to MIL standards — Applicable tests have been made in accordance with MIL-STD-810H and EMC-MIL-STD-461G, and the headset has RFI protection.
