Aprašymas
A red 2,150 ci (35 L) rope bag for rope-access, technical rescue and fire-service teams who need to carry, store and deploy rope quickly.
This is model #3 in the CMC Rope Bags range, built for convenient carrying and easy use. A reach-in pouch at the bottom lets a knotted rope end be deployed from either side while it stays secure in transport.
Rope bag capacity is measured by firmly hand packing new rope into the bag to the base of the closure collar. If more volume is wanted to make packing easier or to take additional equipment, the next size up is the better choice.
Key features
- Reach-in bottom — The reach-in bottom allows the bag to be used easily from both ends, so a knotted rope end can be deployed from either side.
- Comfortable carrying — Contoured, backpack-style shoulder straps with an integrated handle make heavy loads more comfortable to carry.
- Side carry handle — A sturdy side carry handle, relocated for improved balance, allows easy loading and unloading from apparatus and includes gear loop attachments.
- Rope ID sleeve — A clear-view sleeve holds rope identification and log information.
- Exterior gear loops — Exterior gear loops give attachment points for carabiners.
- Tie-off loops — Sewn web loops at the base allow the rope end to be tied off either internally or externally.
- Easy closure and filling — A rugged rip-stop nylon top closes easily, and grab handles secured inside the top hold the bag open for quicker stuffing or let it be carried from the top, haul-bag style.
- Hard-wearing fabric — The bag is constructed from extra long-life 1,000-denier CORDURA® nylon.
Typical applications
- Carrying and deploying rope for industrial rope access work at height.
- Staging rope for technical rope rescue.
- Loading and unloading rope from apparatus on fire and rescue vehicles.
