Apraksts
A compact yellow rope bag with a reach-in bottom and side carry handle, for carrying and deploying rope in rope access and rope rescue.
This model #1 rope bag is carried by its side-mounted handle. The Cordura nylon body and rip-stop nylon top are built for repeated use in the field.
It holds 11 litres of rope, measured by firmly hand packing new rope to the base of the closure collar. If you want more room to ease packing or to carry extra equipment, choose the next size up.
Key features
- Reach-in bottom — The reach-in pouch at the base lets a knotted rope end be deployed from either side while staying secure in transit, so the bag can be used from both ends.
- Side carry handle — A sturdy side handle carries the bag and makes loading and unloading from the apparatus easy.
- Internal grab handles — Grab handles secured inside the top hold the bag open for quicker stuffing, or carry it from the top, haul-bag style.
- Exterior gear loops — Gear loops on the outside let you clip carabiners to the bag.
- Rope end tie-off — Sewn web loops at the base allow the rope end to be tied off either inside or outside the bag.
- Rope ID sleeve — A clear-view sleeve holds rope identification or log information where it can be read without opening the bag.
- Long-life Cordura nylon — The bag is constructed from extra long-life 1,000-denier Cordura nylon, with a rugged rip-stop nylon top for easy closure.
Typical applications
- Carrying and deploying rope for industrial rope access work at height.
- Technical rope rescue, where a rope must be stowed securely and deployed from either end.
- Loading and unloading rope from the apparatus in rescue operations.
