Kirjeldus
Small-size sit harness in Coyote / Black from the modular Outback Convertible system, made for rescue, climbing, caving, tactical and military teams working in remote areas.
The Outback Convertible Harness is a lightweight modular system that lets each user configure the harness for the task at hand and share components in the field. This sit harness is the small size, supplied in Coyote / Black.
It is EN 12277:2015+A1:2018 and tested to ASTM F1772-24, and if you are between sizes or plan to wear multiple layers of clothing, sizing up gives more range in the waist belt circumference.
Key features
- Quick-connect waist belt — The waist belt is donned quickly with a quick-connect Cobra Buckle.
- Narrow belt profile — The belt is 5 cm (2 in) wide, so it fits through most belt loops.
- MOLLE compatible — The waist belt is compatible with a number of MOLLE attachments.
- Leg loops without opening belt — A patent-pending integration system adds leg loops without opening the belt and gives a highly stable connection that keeps its position on the body.
- Fast leg loop assembly — Leg loops close with quick-connect Cobra Buckles and assemble in seconds, with no need to remove a backpack, skis, snowshoes or crampons.
- Aluminium D-ring — The aluminium D-ring is more durable than fabric and fits multiple connections without cross loading.
- Removable rear straps — Optional, lightweight rear straps add comfort when hiking and can be removed if no longer wanted.
- Chest unit expandability — A chest unit can be integrated rapidly without opening the sit harness, so teams can start with the sit harness and move to more features for rope work later.
Typical applications
- Rescue and climbing operations in remote areas
- Caving, tactical and military operations
- Teams that share components between members in the field
