Active communications headset with a neckband suspension, green cups and a left-mounted microphone, for tactical users who need hearing protection and radio communication.
The Sordin Supreme T2 CC is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications. This version has green cups, a neckband suspension with a black textile headband, memory foam cushions and the microphone mounted on the left.
In this configuration the headset is rated SNR 28 dB under EN 352, with H 29 dB, M 26 dB and L 21 dB, and NRR 23 dB under ANSI S3.19. The SordinHEAR2 audio system offers four audio profiles (Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off), and sound level limitation holds the level at a maximum of 82 dB(A).
A single AA battery gives an operating time of 120 hours with Varta Ultra lithium, and a Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable battery is also supported. The headset is immersion tested at a depth of 2 metres for 35 min and salt water tested, and applicable tests have been made against MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G. The fixed downlead uses a TP120 type plug and is 410 mm long.

- SordinFLEX modularity — The SordinFLEX platform lets the headset be reconfigured between headband, neckband and helmet-mounted suspensions without tools.
- Short decay time — A short decay time restores normal sound instantly after a shot, while dangerous sounds are compressed and harmless ambient sound is amplified.
- Tested to MIL standards — Applicable tests have been made in accordance with MIL-STD-810H and EMC-MIL-STD-461G, and the headset has RFI protection.
