Dual-com active communication headset with tan cups and a leather headband, built for tactical users who need hearing protection and radio communication.
Sordin Supreme T2 CC is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications, and this is the dual-com version: its downlead is the dual-com type. The headset has a leather headband suspension, memory foam cushions and tan cups, with the microphone mounted on the left.
In this configuration the headset is rated SNR 29 dB under EN 352 (H 32 dB / M 27 dB / L 20 dB) and NRR 23 dB under ANSI S3.19. Combined with Sordin SoftEar earplugs it reaches SNR 40 dB / NRR 35 dB.
SordinHEAR2 provides four audio profiles: Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off, with voice feedback confirming each selection. Sound level limitation keeps the level at a maximum of 82 dB(A) through the speakers.
The headset runs on a single AA 1.5V battery (Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable 3.7 V also supported) for up to 120 hours of operating time with a Varta Ultra lithium cell. It is tested against MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G, is salt water tested and is immersion tested by submersion at 2 metres for 35 min.

- SordinFLEX modularity — The SordinFLEX modular platform lets the suspension be reconfigured without tools, with headband, neckband, ARC Rails and Rear ARC Rails models available.
- Boom microphone and downlead — A fixed boom microphone with high audio sensitivity and a factory-mounted downlead connect the headset to a PTT, radio or communication device.
