MIL-tested tactical communication headset with a fixed downlead and left-mounted boom microphone, on a leather headband with memory foam cushions.
The Sordin Supreme T2 CC is the communication version of the Supreme T2 tactical platform: an advanced headset for demanding military, law enforcement and security work, with a factory-mounted downlead for a PTT, radio or other communication device and a fixed, noise-compensating boom microphone on the left cup.
It is tested against the relevant parts of MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G, salt-water tested and immersion tested submerged at 2 metres for 35 minutes, with the electronics coated in multiple layers for full waterproofness. Failsafe loudspeakers keep the radio communication running even when the battery is out.
SordinHEAR2 reproduces ambient sound with high amplification and natural directional sensitivity while compressing dangerous impulse noise, limited to 82 dB(A); four audio profiles – Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off – adapt gain and frequency to the situation and are confirmed by voice feedback.

- Single AA battery — Around 120 hours of operating time on one AA cell, with automatic shutdown after 4 hours and a voice warning when 10 % remains; the Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable is also supported.
- SordinFLEX modular platform — The suspension can be swapped between headband, neckband, ARC rails and rear ARC rails, and headband covers and cushions are available as accessories.
