Description
A 1-6x24 variable riflescope with an LED-illuminated red segmented circle / crosshair BDC reticle for .223 / 77 grain, for close quarter battle and long-distance marksmanship.
The Trijicon VCOG 1-6x24 (Variable Combat Optical Gunsight) is a rugged variable-power riflescope that covers both close quarter battle (CQB) and long-distance marksmanship.
Its first focal plane segmented circle / crosshair reticle is red by day and by night, with bullet drop compensation calibrated for .223 / 77 grain, so subtensions and drops stay true at any magnification.
The reticle is LED-illuminated and powered by a single AA lithium or alkaline battery, and the scope is supplied on a flattop thumbscrew mount (TA51) in a forged aluminium housing with a matte black finish.
Key features
- First focal plane — The first focal plane reticle lets the user acquire the target quickly and apply the correct hold throughout the magnification range.
- BDC ranging reticle — The bullet drop compensating and ranging reticle allows the shooter to estimate range and apply the correct hold quickly.
- Six brightness settings — The LED reticle offers 6 brightness settings with an off position between each setting, and a lithium AA battery gives 700 hours of continuous use at setting 4.
- Integrated rail mount — The integrated thumbscrew flattop adapter removes the need for conventional ring mounts and fits many rails designed for the Trijicon ACOG.
- Dial fin magnification — An integrated dial fin allows easy rotation through the magnification range, and the constant eye relief means no change of head or stock position.
- Multi-coated lenses — Multi-coated lenses provide clarity and light-gathering capability with zero distortion.
- Rugged, waterproof housing — The forged 7075-T6 aluminium alloy housing is tested to MIL-STD-810G and is waterproof to 20 metres.
Typical applications
- Carbines and rifles used for close quarter battle as well as longer-range engagements.
- Law enforcement and military units needing a single variable optic with a ranging reticle.
- Precision and practical shooters who want holds that stay true at every magnification.
