Description
A 1-6x24 variable combat riflescope with an LED-illuminated green BDC reticle for .308 / 175 grain, for users who need close-quarter speed and longer-range holds.
The VCOG 1-6x24 is a variable powered riflescope with a 1-6x magnification range and a 24mm objective, built to cover both close quarter battle (CQB) and long distance marksmanship.
Its green segmented circle/crosshair reticle is a bullet drop compensating design calibrated for .308 / 175 grain and sits in the first focal plane, so subtensions and drops remain true at any magnification.
The reticle is LED-illuminated and powered by a single AA battery, with 6 brightness settings; the scope is supplied with the Flattop Thumbscrew Mount (TA51) and a lithium AA battery.
Key features
- First focal plane — The first focal plane reticle lets the user acquire the target and apply the correct hold throughout the magnification range.
- Ranging BDC reticle — The bullet drop compensating and ranging reticle allows the shooter to estimate range quickly and apply the correct hold for .308 / 175 grain.
- Single AA battery — The LED reticle runs on one AA lithium or alkaline battery and offers 1400 hours of continuous use at brightness setting 4 of 6.
- Brightness with off positions — Six brightness settings are provided, with an off position between each setting.
- Integrated rail mount — The integrated mounting adapter removes the need for conventional ring mounts and fits many rails designed for the Trijicon ACOG.
- Dial fin and eye relief — An integrated dial fin allows easy rotation through the magnification range, and the constant eye relief means no head or stock position adjustments are needed.
- Forged aluminium housing — The forged 7075-T6 aluminium-alloy housing is tested to MIL-STD-810G and is waterproof to 20 metres (66 ft.).
- Multi-coated lenses — Multi-coated lenses provide clarity and light-gathering capability with zero distortion.
Typical applications
- Close quarter work at low power combined with precise holds at longer distances on the same rifle.
- Duty and service rifles that need a durable, illuminated optic for use in varying light.
- Designated marksman roles where fast range estimation and holdover matter.
