Description
An adjustable-LED red dot sight with a 3.25 MOA dot, built for military, law enforcement, self-defence, target shooting and hunting use on pistols, rifles, shotguns and carbines.
The RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED uses a patented housing shape that diverts the force of an impact away from the lens, built from forged aluminium and designed to be waterproof to 20 metres (66 ft.).
Easy-to-use buttons on the sides of the housing let the shooter adjust illumination brightness and switch between manual and automatic modes, or power the sight down for storage. In manual mode the sight holds the chosen brightness for 16.5 hours before reverting to automatic, and the buttons can also be locked out so the sight runs in automatic mode only, guarding against accidental changes.
Key features
- Durable housing — A patented housing shape diverts impact force away from the lens for greater durability, built from forged aluminium.
- Adjustable illumination — Side buttons adjust brightness and toggle between manual and automatic modes, and can power the sight down for storage.
- Automatic lock-out — The buttons can be locked so the sight runs in automatic mode only, preventing inadvertent presses from disturbing the aiming solution.
- Battery conservation mode — The sight automatically adjusts the aiming dot to ambient lighting conditions after 16.5 hours to help conserve the battery.
- True-colour lens — The multi-coated lens gives wide-band light transmission for minimal change in target area colour.
- Windage and elevation — Windage and elevation adjust without special tools, at 1 MOA per click.
- Waterproof construction — The sight is designed to be waterproof to 20 metres (66 ft.).
- Mounting kit for some pistols — Fitting the sight to a Glock MOS, Springfield OSP, Walther PDP or H&K VP9 Optics Ready pistol requires the Trijicon RMR mounting kit AC32064.
