Description
Trijicon RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED red dot sight with a 1.0 MOA dot, built for professionals shooting pistols, rifles, shotguns and carbines at longer range.
The housing uses Trijicon's patented shape, which absorbs impacts and diverts stress away from the lens, and the electronics have been proven to perform when mounted on slide-ride pistols and other small arms. It suits military, law enforcement, concealed carry self-defence, target shooting and hunting use.
Illumination is under the user's control: buttons on the sides of the optic set the brightness, switch between manual and automatic modes, and power the sight down for storage. The buttons can also be locked out so the sight runs in automatic mode only, so an accidental press cannot disturb the aiming point.
With the smallest dot offered in the Adjustable LED range, it is suited to accurate aim at greater distances on long-range pistol, rifle and carbine platforms, and is compatible with night vision devices.
Key features
- Adjustable illumination control — Side buttons set the brightness, switch between manual and automatic modes, and power the sight down for storage.
- Auto lock-out mode — The buttons can be locked out so the sight stays in automatic mode only, preventing an accidental press from disturbing the aiming point.
- Battery conservation mode — In manual mode the sight reverts to automatic brightness 16.5 hours after the last button press, conserving the battery for the next task.
- Fine 1.0 MOA dot — The dot is the smallest offered in the Adjustable LED range, allowing more accurate aim at greater distances on long-range pistol, rifle and carbine applications.
- Impact-absorbing housing — A patented housing shape diverts the force of an impact away from the lens for outstanding durability.
- True-colour multi-coated lens — The multi-coated lens gives wide-band light transmission for minimal change in target area colour.
- Mounting kit for some pistols — Fitting this sight to a Glock MOS, Springfield OSP, Walther PDP or H&K VP9 Optics Ready pistol requires the Trijicon RMR mounting kit AC32064.
Typical applications
- Duty and concealed-carry handguns for law enforcement and military use.
- Competition and target shooting where precise aim matters.
- Hunting with a pistol, rifle, shotgun or carbine.
- Long-range pistol, rifle and carbine work, including use with night vision devices.
Please note
If selecting an RMR for mounting on the Glock® MOS, Springfield® OSP, Walther® PDP, or H&K® VP9 Optics Ready, a Trijicon RMR® mounting kit (AC32064) is required.
