Description
A lightweight aluminium mount adapter that fits Trijicon RMR-footprint optics to any rifle with a Picatinny rail, giving a lower 1/3 co-witness with the backup iron sights.
Designed specifically for the Trijicon RMR, this mount adapter fits RMR-footprint optics to any rifle platform fitted with a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail. It uses a see-through, lightweight rugged aluminium design with a matte black anodised finish.
The mount sets a lower 1/3 co-witness, holding the optic higher than the backup iron sights for a less cluttered field of view, with the irons visible in the lower third of the optical window. Measured from the top of the mounting rail to the optical axis, this comes to 1.516 in. for the RMR footprint and 1.757 in. for the Trijicon SRO.
