Description
Front and rear tritium night sights with a thin front post for a larger field of view, designed for law enforcement users of Sig Sauer pistols.
These night sights fit Sig Sauer® pistols: P220, P229, P240, P245, P938, Pro233, Pro2340, Pro245, and P365.
The front sight has a yellow outline and the rear sight a black outline, with green tritium lamps front and rear, giving a clear sight picture in bright, transitional and low-light conditions.
Key features
- Thin front post — The thin front post promotes a larger field of view for fast target identification and engagement at longer distances.
- Front sight acquisition — A photoluminescent-painted front outline combines with a subdued U-notch rear to draw the eye quickly to the domed sapphire and tritium front sight.
- Brighter aiming point — A domed sapphire cap on the front sight focuses the tritium illumination for a 2X brighter aiming point.
- Tritium illumination — Tritium phosphor-filled glass lamps illuminate the sights for high visibility in no-light and low-light situations.
- Recoil protection — The tritium lamps sit within protective aluminium cylinders with additional silicone rubber cushioning, guarding against heavy recoil and harsh cleaning solvents.
- Even light distribution — Each tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps distribute the light evenly and adds protection from puncture and cleaning solvents.
Typical applications
- Duty use by law enforcement personnel who need to identify targets and engage them at longer distances.
- Upgrading the standard sights on a compatible pistol for shooting in any light.
- Installation by a gunsmith or armourer is recommended.
