Description
Tritium night sights with an orange front outline and a black rear outline, made for law enforcement and professional Sig Sauer pistol users.
These night sights suit Sig Sauer pistols that come factory standard with #8 front and #8 rear sights, and fit the P225, P226, P228, P239, and P320 (Excluding P938 and P365).
They have an orange front outline, a black rear outline and green tritium lamps at the front and rear.
A thinner front sight post gives a larger field of view for identifying targets and seeing hits at longer distances.
Key features
- Wide field of view — The thin front post promotes a larger field of view for fast target identification and engagement at longer distances.
- Front sight acquisition — The photoluminescent-painted front outline and the subdued U-notch rear draw the eye quickly to the domed sapphire and tritium front sight.
- Brighter aiming point — A domed sapphire cap on the front sight focuses the tritium illumination for a 2X brighter aiming point.
- Visible in low light — Tritium phosphor-filled glass lamps illuminate the sights for high visibility in no-light and low-light situations.
- Recoil protection — The tritium gas lamps sit inside protective aluminium cylinders with additional silicone rubber cushioning against heavy recoil and harsh cleaning solvents.
- Even light output — Each tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps distribute the light evenly and protects against puncture and cleaning solvents.
Typical applications
- Duty use by law enforcement officers who need to identify and engage targets at longer distances.
- Shooting in bright, transitional and no-light conditions with a clear sight picture.
- Installation by a gunsmith or armourer is recommended.
