Description
A tritium front night sight with orange outline for Sig Sauer pistols, designed for shooters who need precise target engagement at longer distances.
This is a front sight only, with a green tritium lamp and an orange front outline, for use on Sig Sauer pistols.
It fits Sig Sauer P220, P229, P240, P245, P938, Pro233, Pro2340, Pro245, and P365.
Its thinner front post gives a larger field of view, which helps with identifying targets and seeing hits on target at longer distances.
Key features
- Wider field of view — The thin front post, 0.122 in. wide, promotes a larger field of view for fast target identification and engagement at longer distances.
- Outline and rear notch — A glow-in-the-dark, photoluminescent-painted front outline combines with a subdued U notch rear to draw the eye to the front sight in all lighting conditions.
- Brighter aiming point — A domed sapphire cap focuses the tritium illumination for an aiming point that is 2X brighter.
- Tritium lamp — A tritium phosphor-filled glass lamp illuminates the sight for high visibility in no-light and low-light situations.
- Recoil protection — The tritium gas lamps sit inside protective aluminium cylinders with additional silicone rubber cushioning, guarding against heavy recoil and harsh cleaning solvents.
- Sapphire jewel cap — Each tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps distribute the light evenly and adds protection from puncture and cleaning solvents.
Typical applications
- Duty use where fast target identification matters.
- Shooting in low-light and no-light conditions.
- Installation by a gunsmith or armourer is recommended.
