Description
A front sight only with an orange outline and green tritium lamp, for Glock pistols where a thin post and a wider field of view matter.
This is a front sight only, with an orange outline and a green tritium lamp, from the HD XR night sight range for Glock standard frames.
It fits Glock® models 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39, and 45. (Excluding MOS Models)
A thinner front sight post gives a larger field of view, which helps with identifying targets, expediting engagements and seeing the location of hits at longer distances.
Key features
- Thin front post — The thin front post promotes a larger field of view for fast target identification and engagement at longer distances.
- Photoluminescent outline — The glow-in-the-dark, photoluminescent-painted front outline combines with a subdued, “U” notch rear to draw the eye quickly to the front sight in all lighting conditions.
- Tritium front lamp — A tritium phosphor-filled glass lamp illuminates the sight for high visibility in no-light and low-light situations.
- Domed sapphire cap — The domed sapphire cap focuses the tritium illumination for a 2X brighter aiming point.
- Recoil and solvent protection — The tritium gas lamps are contained within protective aluminium cylinders with additional silicone rubber cushioning, giving protection from heavy recoil and harsh cleaning solvents.
- Even light distribution — A sapphire jewel caps the tritium lamp, helping to distribute the light evenly and adding a layer of protection from puncture and cleaning solvents.
Typical applications
- Upgrading the front sight of a pistol used for duty or training.
- Precise target engagement in bright, transitional and low-light conditions.
- Installation by a gunsmith or armourer is recommended.
