Description
Green tritium night sight set with a yellow front outline and black rear outline, designed for tactical shooters using H&K pistols.
This night sight set is made for the H&K® P2000, and P2000SK.
The front sight has a taller blade and a yellow outline with an aiming point ringed in photoluminescent paint, while the rear sight is outlined in black with a wider U-shaped notch. Both sights carry green tritium lamps.
Key features
- Front sight acquisition — The photoluminescent-painted front outline and the subdued U notch rear draw the eye quickly to the front sight in bright, transitional and no-light situations.
- Brighter front sight — A domed sapphire cap focuses the tritium illumination for a 2X brighter aiming point.
- Visible in low light — Tritium phosphor-filled glass lamps illuminate the sights for high visibility in no-light and low-light situations.
- Even light distribution — Each tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps distribute the light evenly and adds protection from puncture and cleaning solvents.
- Recoil and solvent protection — The tritium gas lamps sit within protective aluminium cylinders with additional silicone rubber cushioning.
- One-handed slide operation — The front surface of the rear sight is steeply hooked to assist emergency one-handed slide manipulation.
Typical applications
- Duty and tactical use with H&K pistols where fast front sight acquisition is needed in changing light.
- Low-light and no-light shooting where a clear sight picture is required.
- Installation by a gunsmith or armourer is recommended.
