Description
Tritium night sight set with an orange front outline and a black rear outline, for H&K P2000 and P2000SK pistols and tactical shooters.
This night sight set fits the H&K P2000 and P2000SK models, with green tritium lamps front and rear.
The front sight has an orange outline and a taller blade, while the rear sight is outlined in black and has a wider U-shaped notch, which increases visibility and quickens front sight acquisition even in transitional lighting.
Key features
- Front sight acquisition — The glow-in-the-dark, photoluminescent-painted front outline combines with a subdued U-notch rear to draw the eye to the front sight in bright, transitional and no-light situations.
- Brighter front sight — A domed sapphire cap on the front sight focuses the tritium illumination for a 2X brighter aiming point.
- Low-light visibility — Tritium phosphor-filled glass lamps illuminate the sights for high visibility in no-light and low-light situations.
- One-handed slide operation — The steeply hooked front surface of the rear sight assists in emergency one-handed slide manipulation.
- Recoil and solvent protection — The tritium gas lamps sit inside protective aluminium cylinders with additional silicone rubber cushioning, which protects them from heavy recoil and harsh cleaning solvents.
- Even light distribution — Each tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps distribute the light evenly and adds protection from puncture and cleaning solvents.
Typical applications
- Duty and tactical use where the sights must be readable in bright, transitional and dark conditions.
- Upgrading the standard sights on H&K P2000 and P2000SK pistols; installation by a gunsmith or armourer is recommended.
