Description
Fibre sight set for 1911 pistols, with a red and green fibre front sight and a black, non-illuminated rear, for carry and competition use.
This fibre sight set fits 1911 Novak Style Low Mount Dovetail Cut Models, with the make given as 1911.
The front sight uses red and green fibre, while the rear sight is black and non-illuminated, so the bright front post draws the eye to the aiming point.
It has a Novak style rear sight with a square notch, and is built for both carrying and competing.
Key features
- Bright front post — A bright front post fibre combined with a subdued rear sight promotes acquisition of the front sight and target.
- Refined sight picture — A thin front post allows a refined sight picture in a variety of shooting environments and distances, and gives a better field of view for longer range engagements.
- Robust construction — Fibre technology and rugged metal construction give the sight strength and durability under rigorous shooting, rough handling and aggressive holster use.
- One-handed manipulation — The steeply hooked front surface of the rear sight assists emergency one-handed slide manipulations.
- Snag-free carry — Rounded edges on the rear sight reduce snag points for improved comfort while carrying.
Typical applications
- Concealed or duty carry with a 1911 pistol.
- Competition shooting where fast front sight acquisition matters.
- Installation by a gunsmith or armourer is recommended.
