Description
The Trijicon Dual Defense Kit combines an RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED 6.5 MOA red dot with co-witnessed Suppressor/Optic Height Sights for professional and competition pistol shooters.
This kit combines the Trijicon RMR into one easy-to-use package with the Suppressor/Optic Height Sight Set, adding speed and precision to self-defence, law enforcement, military, competition or target pistols. The front and rear sights are white-painted with green lamps and are engineered to the optimal height so the iron sights remain visible through the optic lens, giving a co-witnessed backup aiming solution.
The optic's patented housing diverts the force of an impact away from the lens, and the unit is waterproof to 66 ft. (20m). Professional installation is recommended, and the kit is designed to be mounted to Glock MOS pistols, Sig Sauer optics ready pistols or custom optics cut guns.
Key features
- Adjustable LED illumination — Side buttons let the user adjust the brightness of the 6.5 MOA red dot, toggle between manual and automatic modes, and power the unit down for storage.
- Battery conservation mode — The aiming dot automatically adjusts to ambient lighting conditions and scales back after 16.5 hours, helping the CR2032 battery last over 4 years of continuous use at setting 4 of 8.
- Easy windage and elevation — Windage and elevation adjust at 1 MOA per click, with no need for special tools.
- Co-witnessed backup sights — The Suppressor/Optic Height Sight Set is engineered to the optimal height so the white-painted, green-lamped front and rear sights stay visible through the optic lens, giving a backup aiming solution if the red dot is unavailable.
- Durable, waterproof housing — The patented forged-aluminium housing diverts the force of an impact away from the lens, and the unit is waterproof to 66 ft. (20m).
- True-colour, multi-coated lens — The multi-coated lens gives wide-band light transmission for minimal change in target-area colour.
- Multi-platform use — The optic suits rifle, pistol, shotgun and carbine platforms, or can be run as a secondary sight alongside a magnified optic.
Typical applications
- Concealed carry and personal self-defence.
- Law enforcement duty use.
- Military service use.
- Competition and target shooting.
