This Dual Defense kit combines the RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED red dot with a Suppressor/Optic Height night sight set, fitted to the SIG Sauer M17/M18 commercial variant.
The night sights are set to a height that lets the iron sight be seen through the optic lens, so the co-witnessed sights back up the red dot and support fast acquisition of the aiming point.

- Durable housing — The housing's patented shape diverts impact force away from the lens, increasing durability.
- Adjustable illumination — Illumination brightness is adjusted with buttons on the sides of the optic, with a toggle between manual and automatic modes and a power-down option for storage.
- Tool-less zeroing — Windage and elevation adjust 1 MOA per click without special tools, across a total adjustment range of 120 MOA.
- Co-witnessed night sights — The Suppressor/Optic Height sights are engineered so the iron sights can be seen through the optic lens, giving a back-up aiming solution if needed.
- Waterproof construction — The forged aluminium housing is waterproof to a submersion depth of 66 ft (20 m).
- Multi-platform use — Beyond the SIG M17/M18 pistol, the same optic design serves as a primary sight on rifles, shotguns and carbines, or as a secondary sight alongside a magnified optic.
- Battery access and life — Power comes from a single CR2032 lithium battery, giving over 4 years of continuous use at brightness setting 4 of 8.
