Description
Three-dot tritium night sights with black outlines for AR15 / M16 platforms, giving a visible sight picture in low light without batteries.
These Bright & Tough night sights are three-dot iron sights for AR15 / M16 platforms, with green tritium lamps at front and rear and black outlines around the lamps.
They are housed in a metal body cushioned within silicone rubber, a shock-resistant design that works without the need for batteries.
Key features
- Battery-free glow — The tritium phosphor-filled glass lamps glow without batteries, giving a visible sight picture in no-light and low-light situations.
- Daylight visibility — White-painted rings around the tritium lamps help the user see the sight picture in bright-light shooting situations.
- Recoil protection — The lamps sit in protective aluminium cylinders with additional silicone rubber cushioning, which helps them withstand heavy recoil and harsh cleaning solvents.
- Sapphire jewel caps — Each lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps distribute the light evenly and protects the lamp from puncture and cleaning solvents.
- Night-fire accuracy — The sights are stated to increase night-fire shooting accuracy by as much as five times over conventional sights, with the same speed as instinctive shooting.
Typical applications
- Low-light and night shooting with AR15 / M16 platforms.
- Rifles exposed to heavy recoil and regular cleaning with solvents.
- Installation by a gunsmith or armourer is recommended.
