Description
A 4x32 ACOG riflescope with a tritium and fibre optic illuminated red chevron BDC reticle, designed for professional users of the M4 and M4A1.
This Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG) combines 4x magnification with a 32mm objective and was designed to the exact specifications of the United States Marine Corps for the M4 and M4A1 weapon system with a 14.5" barrel.
The red chevron reticle carries a Bullet Drop Compensator for 0.223 with a 14.5 in. barrel, and dual illumination from fibre optics and tritium keeps the aiming point lit without batteries.
It is supplied with a flattop thumbscrew mount fitted to a forged aluminium housing in a matte black finish.
Key features
- Dual illumination — Tritium illuminates the aiming point in total darkness, while the fibre optic self-adjusts reticle brightness during daylight to match ambient light conditions.
- Bullet drop compensation — The reticle provides quick target acquisition at close combat ranges and enhanced target identification and hit probability out to 800 metres using the Bullet Drop Compensator.
- Both eyes open — The Bindon Aiming Concept allows shooting with both eyes open for improved situational awareness.
- External adjusters — Windage and elevation adjustments need no tools because the adjusters are external.
- RMR mounting bosses — Mounting bosses integrated into the housing by the eyepiece allow a Trijicon RMR to be added, which is not included.
- Fixed-power housing — The fixed-power design keeps moving parts to a minimum, and the optic is proven to withstand recoil from a .22LR to a .50BMG.
- Nitrogen-filled and waterproof — The dry nitrogen-filled housing mitigates fogging and is waterproof, tested for extreme cold and heat.
- Accessories included — A killFlash anti-reflection device, Scopecoat, LENSPEN and a lanyard assembly for the adjuster caps come in the box.
