Description
A fixed 4x32 ACOG riflescope with a green horseshoe/dot BDC reticle and tritium and fibre optic illumination, for users of .223 / 5.56 flattop rifles.
This ACOG is a fixed 4x riflescope with a 32mm objective and a green horseshoe/dot Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) reticle. The ranging reticle is calibrated for 5.56 (.223 cal) flattop rifles out to 800 metres, with bullet drop compensation for .223 / 5.56.
It uses dual illumination: fibre optics light the reticle in daylight and tritium illuminates it at night. The scope comes with a flattop thumbscrew mount.
Key features
- Automatic brightness — The tritium and fibre optic illuminated reticle adjusts its brightness automatically to the available light.
- Ranging BDC reticle — The bullet drop compensating, target-ranging horseshoe/dot reticle is calibrated for .223 / 5.56 out to 800 metres.
- Both eyes open — The Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) supports shooting with both eyes open for improved situational awareness.
- Fixed-power housing — The fixed-power design uses minimal moving parts in a forged aluminium housing.
- Shock resistant — It is proven to withstand recoil from a .22LR to a .50BMG.
- Waterproof and fog-free — The dry nitrogen-filled housing mitigates fogging and is rated to a submersion depth of -66 ft. (-20m).
- Multi-coated glass — Multi-coated lenses maximise light gathering and give a clear field of view.
Typical applications
- Magnified sighting on .223 / 5.56 flattop rifles for duty and patrol use.
- Range estimation and holdover at medium distances without adjusting turrets.
- Around-the-clock use in changing light, from daylight to night.
