Description
A compact 3x24 ACOG riflescope with a green horseshoe/dot fibre-optic and tritium reticle calibrated for .223 Rem / 55 gr., supplied with a Q-LOC quick-attach mount.
This Trijicon Compact ACOG is a fixed 3x magnification riflescope with a 24mm objective and an illuminated reticle for use in any lighting conditions.
The green horseshoe/dot reticle is a bullet drop compensating design calibrated for .223 Rem / 55 gr. Dual illumination comes from fibre optics and tritium: the fibre optics adjust brightness to the available light, and the tritium-phosphor lamp glows in low light.
It comes on a low-height Compact ACOG Mount with Q-LOC Technology, which fits any Mil-Spec or NATO Picatinny rail and is attached with one hand and without tools.
Key features
- Battery-free dual illumination — Fibre optics and tritium light the reticle without batteries, with the fibre optics adjusting brightness and contrast to ambient light.
- Bindon Aiming Concept — The Bindon Aiming Concept allows both-eyes-open shooting for improved situational awareness.
- Q-LOC tool-less mount — The spring-loaded 6061-T6 aluminium mount keeps retention and zero even if the knobs are not tightened, and is Mil-Spec drop test rated.
- Forged aluminium housing — The forged 7075-T6 aluminium alloy housing and fixed-power design with minimal moving parts make a rugged, reliable sighting system.
- External adjusters — Windage and elevation are adjusted by hand in 0.5 MOA clicks, and the adjuster caps are secured with a lanyard assembly.
- RMR-ready housing — Mounting bosses near the eyepiece allow a Trijicon RMR to be added with the RM54 mount, both not included.
- Sealed against weather — The dry nitrogen-filled housing is waterproof and mitigates fogging in extreme cold and heat.
- Multi-coated lenses — Multi-coated lenses maximise light gathering for a clear field of view.
Typical applications
- Patrol and duty carbines chambered in .223 Rem that need a fast, rugged magnified optic.
- Military and law-enforcement use in changing light, from daylight to low light.
- Units that move optics between rifles on Picatinny rails and want to keep zero.
