It is powered by a rechargeable 7.4V, 5.2 Ahr lithium-ion battery that fully recharges in 5 hours, and is operated via a large, multi-function push-button switch designed for use with gloved hands.
The housing is made from high-impact, super tough nylon, paired with an unbreakable, scratch-resistant, gasket-sealed polycarbonate lens. The lantern is IP67 rated, dust-tight and waterproof to 1 m for 30 minutes, and impact resistance tested to 2 m; it measures 23.85 cm long, 11.68 cm wide and 16.26 cm high, and weighs 1288 g.
