Description
The Vantage II is a compact helmet-mounted light for firefighters using MSA Cairns 1010/1044 traditional fire helmets, combining a 350 lumen beam with rear visibility.
Built for the MSA Cairns 1010/1044 traditional fire helmet, the Vantage II attaches securely above or below the brim in seconds and weighs 82.2 g (2.90 oz) with its battery, so it adds very little to a helmet that is already carrying load.
A single 3-volt CR123A lithium battery drives two output levels, 350 lumens for 2.25 hours or 135 lumens for 5 hours, while an ultra-bright blue taillight LED in the push-button switch keeps the wearer visible from behind.
The body is machined 6000 Series aircraft aluminium with a black anodised finish and a high-temperature, impact-resistant BOROFLOAT glass lens; it is rated IPX7 waterproof to 1 m for 30 minutes and tested to 1 m impact resistance.
