Description
The Streamlight TLR-8 HL-X sub USB is a multi-fuel, rail-mounted light with red laser for SIG SAUER P365/XL subcompact pistols with closed rail systems.
The TLR-8 HL-X sub USB pairs a high-lumen, high-candela white LED with a red laser in a housing built for subcompact railed handguns. This version is supplied with the mounting kit and key for SIG SAUER P365/XL closed rail systems, along with a multi-tool, one SL-B9 battery pack and a USB-C cord. It does not fit the P365 XMACRO.
On the SL-B9 battery pack the default setting delivers 1,000 lumens and 10,000 candela to 200 m for 30 min, while the programmable setting gives 500 lumens and 5,000 candela to 141 m for 1 hr. On a CR123A lithium battery the light produces 500 lumens and 5,000 candela to 141 m for 1.5 hrs. Laser mode runs 29 hours.
The multi-fuel design accepts one SL-B9 rechargeable battery pack (included) or one CR123A lithium battery, loaded from the front. The SL-B9 pack charges within 2.5 hours via the USB-C cord or a bank charger and is rechargeable up to 500 cycles. Interchangeable rear paddle switches cover high and low activation, and the "Safe-off" feature prevents accidental activation and saves batteries. The body is 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminium with a black anodised finish, the switch housing is impact- and chemical-resistant engineered polymer, and the lens is high-temperature, shock-mounted, impact-resistant BOROFLOAT glass. The light is IPX4 water-resistant, 6.38 cm (2.51 in) long and weighs 81.4 g (2.87 oz) with the SL-B9 or 78.5 g (2.77 oz) with a CR123A battery.
