It runs on a multi-fuel system: one rechargeable SL-B26 lithium-ion battery pack, which charges in 5 hours, or three AA alkaline batteries as an alternative power source.
The housing and base are made from high-impact, super tough nylon, with an IP67 rating for dust-tight and waterproof protection to 1 m for 30 minutes. A spring-loaded clip with a built-in D-ring attaches easily to belts and harnesses while reducing unwanted rotation.
