Description
Slim silver inspection penlight with a flexible white LED cable extension, for technicians and inspectors working inside tight or hidden spaces.
The Stylus Reach is a machined aluminium penlight with a non-slip knurled grip and a flexible cable that carries a white LED at its tip. Folded it measures 17.78 cm (7 in), and extended it reaches 34.6 cm (14 in), so the LED can be placed where the hand and the body of the penlight cannot follow.
Output is 11 lumens at 140 candela with a 24 m beam, and run time is 24 hours from three AAAA alkaline batteries that are supplied with the penlight.
Key features
- Flexible cable reach — The white LED sits at the end of a flexible cable, taking the penlight from 17.78 cm (7 in) folded to 34.6 cm (14 in) extended.
- Measured output — It produces 11 lumens with a peak beam intensity of 140 candela and a 24 m beam distance.
- Long run time — Run time is 24 hours on one set of cells.
- Alkaline power — Power comes from three AAAA alkaline batteries, supplied with the penlight.
- Machined aluminium body — The case is machined aluminium with a non-slip knurled grip.
- Water and impact resistance — The penlight is IPX4 water-resistant and 2 metre impact resistance tested.
- Pocket-sized format — A 0.95 cm (0.375 in) diameter barrel weighing 48.2 g (1.7 oz) carries easily in a shirt pocket.
Typical applications
- Inspecting engine bays, wheel arches and other confined areas in vehicle workshops.
- Checking behind panels, above ceilings and inside ducts during building maintenance.
- Machine and equipment inspection where the viewing angle is too narrow for a hand-held torch.
- Everyday carry in a shirt or coverall pocket for quick checks in poorly lit corners.
