Description
A rechargeable 800-lumen duty torch for police, security and industrial users, supplied in the 230V AC/12V DC two-holder charging configuration.
The Stinger LED HL is a full-size rechargeable duty torch giving 800 lumens, 24,000 candela and a beam distance of 310 m on high, with medium and low settings for closer work.
This version is supplied in the 230V AC/12V DC two-holder configuration, so the torch can be kept on charge at the station and in the vehicle.
The machined aluminium body, polycarbonate lens, IPX4 water resistance and 1 m impact rating suit it to daily use in the field.
Key features
- Three output modes — High gives 800 lumens, 24,000 candela and a 310 m beam for 1.5 hrs, with 400 lumen medium and 200 lumen low settings for longer run times.
- Strobe setting — A strobe mode is also available and runs for 3 hours.
- Rechargeable battery — The 3-cell, 3.6 volt, 2.6 Ah NiMH sub-C battery can be recharged up to 1,000 times.
- Charging times — Charging takes 16 hours on the steady charger, or 4.5 hours on the smart charger with a 5V/1A USB input and 3 hours from a 12V DC input.
- Machined aluminium body — The body is 6000 series machined aircraft aluminium with a non-slip rubberised comfort grip and an anti-roll rubber ring.
- Protected lens — An unbreakable polycarbonate lens with a scratch-resistant coating covers the head.
- Water and impact resistance — The torch is IPX4 water-resistant and impact resistance tested to 1 m.
- Size and weight — It measures 21.36 cm (8.41 in) long with a 4.11 cm (1.62 in) major diameter and weighs 352 g (12.4 oz) with the battery.
