Description
The Stinger LED is a rechargeable 425 lumen handheld torch for police, security and industrial users who need three output levels in one duty light.
Supplied in the 120V AC/12V DC configuration, the Stinger LED pairs a rechargeable NiMH battery with high, medium, low and strobe settings, so a single torch covers close-up work, searching and signalling.
At 21.36 cm and 352 g it is easy to carry on a duty belt or keep in a vehicle, and it charges from a 120V AC mains supply or a 12V DC vehicle supply between shifts.
Key features
- 425 lumen high mode — High mode gives 425 lumens and 26,000 candela for a beam distance of 322 m.
- Three output levels — High runs for 3 hrs, medium gives 200 lumens for 5.5 hrs and low gives 100 lumens for 10 hrs when endurance matters more than reach.
- Strobe setting — A strobe setting runs for 7.5 hours for signalling and marking a position.
- Rechargeable NiMH — The torch runs on a rechargeable NiMH battery instead of disposable cells.
- Mains or vehicle charging — This version charges from a 120V AC supply or from a 12V DC vehicle supply.
- Compact duty size — The black body measures 21.36 cm and weighs 352 g, so it carries easily on patrol.
Typical applications
- Patrol and security work where a bright handheld torch is carried on every shift.
- Vehicle-based teams who top up the charge between callouts.
- Industrial maintenance and inspection in dark plant rooms and service areas.
- Night-time searching of vehicles, buildings and open ground.
