The Stinger DS LED is a rechargeable 425 lumen aluminium duty torch with two independent switches, built for police, security, industrial and rescue users.
Built around a 6000 series machined aircraft aluminium housing with a non-slip rubberised comfort grip and an anti-roll rubber ring, the Stinger DS LED delivers 425 lumens, 26,000 candela and a 322 m beam on its high setting.
Two full-function switches, one in the head and one in the tail, operate independently, so the torch can be worked however it sits in the hand. Three output levels run for 3 hours on high, 5.5 hours on medium and 10 hours on low, with a strobe that runs for 7.5 hours.
At 22.48 cm long, 4.11 cm across its major diameter and 363 g with the battery fitted, it is IPX4 rated and tested to 1 m impact resistance, while the 3-cell, 3.6 volt, 2.6 Ah NiMH sub-C battery can be recharged up to 1,000 times.
