Description
Rechargeable 2,000 lumen full-size torch for police, security and industrial users needing three selectable output levels in an anodised aluminium body.
The Stinger 2020 is a rechargeable LED torch with an anodised aluminium body, textured side panels and an anti-roll shape for a secure grip. A mode switch selects High, Medium or Low, and the head and tail switches work independently of one another.
Power comes from two SL-B26 protected Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery packs of 2,600mAh, rechargeable up to 500 times. The light charges from existing Stinger chargers, the supplied USB cord or an optional SL-B26 bank charger, so it suits both vehicle and workshop routines.
Key features
- High output — High mode delivers 2,000 lumens and 25,000 candela with a beam distance of 315 m and a run time of two hours.
- Selectable levels — Medium gives 850 lumens for four hours and Low gives 100 lumens for 24 hours, so run time can be matched to the task.
- Strobe mode — A strobe setting runs for 3.25 hrs.
- Rechargeable packs — Two SL-B26 protected Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery packs of 2,600mAh power the torch and are rechargeable up to 500 times.
- Charging options — It charges from existing Stinger chargers, a USB cord or an optional SL-B26 bank charger, and a Smart charger recharges it within 8 hours on 5V/1A USB input or 6 hours on 12VDC input.
- Independent switches — Head and tail switches function independently of one another, so the torch can be operated from either end.
- Sealed and rugged — Rated IPX7 waterproof to 1 m, with 2-metre impact resistance testing and shock-mounted, gasket-sealed BOROFLOAT glass.
- Size and weight — The torch measures 19.48 cm long with a major diameter of 4.11 cm and weighs 350 g with batteries.
Typical applications
- Patrol and security duties where a full-size handheld torch is carried through a whole shift.
- Vehicle and machinery inspection in workshops and depots.
- Utility, maintenance and facility rounds in poorly lit plant rooms and corridors.
- Emergency response and roadside work after dark.
