Description
The Sidewinder X Aviation Model is a multi-fuel flashlight with white, green, blue and IR LEDs, supplied in Coyote for aircrew and professional hands-free use.
This Aviation Model combines white, green, blue and IR LEDs in one compact Coyote housing. A 185° tilting head and belt/gear clip let the user aim the beam where it is needed.
The white LED delivers 275 lumens and 3,200 candela on high, with a beam distance of 113 m. It runs on two AA alkaline batteries, which are included, and also accepts one CR123A lithium battery.
Each unit is supplied with a MOLLE retainer and two AA alkaline batteries.

- Four LED sources — White, green, blue and IR LEDs cover general illumination, colour-light tasks and IR use.
- Multi-step white output — The white LED offers 275, 80, 35 and 5 lumens, with 4.75 hrs (alkaline) / 2.75 hrs (CR123A) on high and 150+ hrs (alkaline) / 100+ hrs (CR123A) on low.
- Green and blue LEDs — On high the green LED gives 8.0 lumens with an 18 m distance and the blue LED gives 2.0 lumens with a 7 m distance.
- IR output — The IR LED provides 50mW output with a run time of 40 hrs (alkaline) / 20 hrs (CR123A).
- Controlled operation — A pull-to-turn locking rotary knob prevents accidental mode changes, while a push-button switch operates the light.
- Rugged, sealed construction — A high-impact, super-tough nylon case and gasket-sealed, scratch-resistant unbreakable polycarbonate lens are 3m impact resistance tested.
- IPX7 waterproof — The light is IPX7 rated and waterproof to 1 metre for 30 minutes.
- Flexible carry — It fits existing Sidewinder accessories, and cord attachment holes on the body support 50 lbs of load.
