The ProTac Rail Mount 1 is a multi-fuel, fixed-mount long gun light whose integrated rail clamp attaches to MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail or M-LOK compatible rails. It ships in black with a remote pressure switch, tail cap switch, mounting hardware, an M-LOK mount, one AA alkaline battery and one CR123A lithium battery.
It runs on one AA alkaline or one CR123A lithium battery, both included, and also accepts one AA lithium battery. On CR123A the light delivers 350 lumens and 12,000 candela to 219 m for 1.75 hrs on high, with a 40 lumen low that runs 14.5 hrs; on AA alkaline it gives 150 lumens and 4,950 candela to 141 m for 1.5 hrs on high and 40 lumens for 8 hrs on low. Strobe runs 3 hours on CR123A or 2.75 hours on alkaline.
The light is operated either by the remote switch with momentary/constant on operation or by the standard push-button tail switch, and TEN-TAP programming lets the user choose between three programs: high/strobe, high only or low/high. The body is 6000 series machined aircraft aluminium with an anodised finish and the lens is high-temperature, shock-mounted, AR coated, impact-resistant BOROFLOAT glass.
