The PolyStinger LED is a rechargeable polymer torch with three regulated output levels plus a strobe. On high it produces 485 lumens and 28,000 candela for a beam distance of 335 m, while medium and low hold 240 and 120 lumens for closer work.
Run time reaches 3 hrs on high, 5.5 hrs on medium and 10 hrs on low, with 7.5 hours in strobe, drawn from a 3-cell, 3.6 volt, 2.6 Ah NiMH sub-C battery that can be recharged up to 1,000 times.
The super-tough, non-conductive nylon polymer housing carries a non-slip rubberised comfort grip and an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with a scratch-resistant coating; the torch is IPX4 water-resistant and tested to 3m impact resistance.
