Description
A rechargeable 485-lumen polymer duty torch with independent head and tail switches, for police, security, fire and industrial users needing a hard-wearing handheld light.
The PolyStinger DS LED is a rechargeable polymer torch with three constant output levels: 485 lumens and 28,000 candela on high, 240 lumens on medium and 120 lumens on low, with run times of 3 hrs, 5.5 hrs and 10 hrs. A strobe mode runs 7.5 hours.
It runs on a 3-cell, 3.6 volt, 2.6 Ah NiMH sub-C battery that can be recharged up to 1,000 times, and this version is configured for 230 V AC and 12 V DC charging with two holders.
Two full-function switches, one in the head and one in the tail, operate independently, so the light can be worked from either end, and the nylon polymer housing is IPX4 water-resistant and impact resistance tested to 3 m.
