Description
The Streamlight Bandit is a low-profile, USB-rechargeable LED headlamp for professionals who need hands-free white light for close-up work.
Weighing 36.8 g (1.3 oz) with the headband and just 6.85 cm (2.7 in) long, the Bandit adds very little bulk to a cap or hard hat while delivering 180 lumens of widespread white light.
Its diffused beam gives bright, even light with less shadow than a spot beam, which suits up-close tasks, and the 450 mAh lithium polymer cell recharges from a USB power source.
Key features
- Two white output levels — High gives 180 lumens for 2 hrs and low gives 35 lumens for 9.5 hrs.
- Diffused work light — The lamp produces bright, even, diffused light with less shadow than spot beams, so it is well suited to up-close tasks.
- USB recharging — The 450 mAh lithium polymer cell charges from a USB power source, with red showing charging and green showing charged, and a USB cord is supplied.
- Protected charge port — A tethered rubber cover protects the charge port when the lamp is in use.
- Flexible wearing options — Rubber and elastic head straps and 3M® Dual Lock® reclosable fasteners are supplied, so the lamp can be worn on a head strap or on a hard hat.
- Rugged, weather-resistant — The impact-resistant polycarbonate body and lens are IPX4 weather-resistant and tested to 2 m impact resistance.
Typical applications
- Vehicle and machinery servicing where both hands stay on the work.
- Inspection of cabinets, ducts and other tight, poorly lit spaces.
- Warehouse and site tasks where a full-size headlamp is too bulky to wear all day.
- Roadside assistance and after-dark checks by patrol and facility staff.
