Description
The Bandit is a compact USB-rechargeable headlamp with a red LED, for professionals who need discreet close-up light without added bulk or weight.
Measuring 6.85 cm (2.7 in) and weighing 36.8 g (1.3 oz) with the headband, the Bandit sits flat against the head and stays out of the way over a full shift. Its red LED runs at 45 lumens on high for 2.5 hours, or 10 lumens on low for 10 hours.
A 450 mAh lithium polymer cell recharges from any USB power source; a red indicator shows charging and green shows charged, and the charge port is protected by a tethered rubber cover.
Key features
- Diffused beam — The lamp produces bright, even, diffused light with less shadow than spot beams, so the beam does not bounce as the head moves.
- Two output levels — High gives 45 lumens for 2.5 hours and low gives 10 lumens for 10 hours.
- USB recharging — The 450 mAh lithium polymer cell charges from any USB power source, with a red charging and green charged indication.
- Protected charge port — A tethered rubber cover closes the charge port when the lamp is in use.
- Weather-resistant build — The impact-resistant polycarbonate body and lens are IPX4 weather-resistant and tested to 2 m impact resistance.
- Two wearing options — A visor clip and an elastic head strap are supplied, so the lamp can be worn on a cap peak or directly on the head.
- Coyote red-LED version — This version has a coyote housing and a red LED.
Typical applications
- Close-up inspection and servicing work in cabinets, engine bays and crawl spaces
- Hands-free tasks for electricians, plumbers and service technicians on site
- Warehouse and logistics picking where a cap-worn light is more practical than a hand torch
- Low-light movement around a site or campsite where a discreet red glow is enough
