Description
A compact USB-rechargeable LED headlamp for professionals who need hands-free white light at close range, supplied in black with a visor clip and elastic head strap.
The Streamlight Bandit is a lightweight headlamp with a white LED that gives 180 lumens for 2 hrs on high and 35 lumens for 9.5 hrs on low. It is 6.85 cm (2.7 in) long and weighs 36.8 g (1.3 oz) with headband.
Power comes from a 450 mAh lithium polymer cell that charges from a USB power source, and the charge port is closed by a tethered rubber cover. The polycarbonate body and lens are rated IPX4 weather-resistant and tested to 2 m impact resistance.
Key features
- Two output levels — The white LED runs at 180 lumens for 2 hrs on high and 35 lumens for 9.5 hrs on low.
- USB recharging — The 450 mAh lithium polymer cell charges from a USB power source, through a port closed by a tethered rubber cover.
- Weather resistance — The lamp is rated IPX4 weather-resistant for use outdoors.
- Impact tested — Impact resistance is tested to 2 m.
- Polycarbonate construction — Body and lens are impact-resistant polycarbonate.
- Low weight — The headlamp is 6.85 cm (2.7 in) long and weighs 36.8 g (1.3 oz) with headband, so it adds little load to a helmet or cap.
- Visor or head wear — A visor clip and an elastic head strap are both supplied, so the lamp can be worn on the head or fitted to a visor.
- Charging cord supplied — A USB cord is in the box, so the unit can be charged from an existing USB power source straight away.
Typical applications
- Hands-free inspection and repair work in confined spaces such as engine bays, lofts and cable ducts.
- Close-range assembly and service tasks where a head-worn light must stay clear of hands and tools.
- Utility and emergency call-outs where crews need light to hand after dark.
- Everyday carry for technicians who want a small lamp in a pocket or tool bag.
