Description
Active communication headset with ARC Rails suspension and left-mounted microphone, built for operators in demanding tactical applications who wear a helmet.
The Sordin Supreme T2 CC is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications. This version is configured with ARC Rails suspension, memory foam cushions, Tan cups and a microphone on the left.
On this configuration the EN 352 attenuation is SNR 28 dB, with H 29 dB, M 25 dB and L 21 dB, and the ANSI S3.19 NRR is 21 dB. The attenuation was measured on a TeamWendy Exfil LTP-Helmet Rail3.0, Size1 M/L.
SordinHEAR2 provides four audio profiles: Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off. Sound level limitation is set at a maximum of 82 dB(A). The headset runs on one AA battery, with an operating time of 120 hours on Varta Ultra lithium, and a fixed downlead with an adjustable noise-compensating microphone handles communication.
It is tested against relevant parts of MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G, is immersion tested at 2 metres and is salt water tested.

- Failsafe loudspeakers — Failsafe loudspeakers keep radio and communication audio available even when the batteries are out.
- Waterproof construction — The headset is waterproof and immersion tested at 2 metres, with electronics coated in multiple layers.
- Waterproof microphones — The ambient microphones are waterproof.
- Slim cup design — Slim cups suit both left-handed and right-handed shooters as well as wearers of eyeglasses.
- Short decay time — Normal sound is restored instantly after a shot, while harmless ambient sound is amplified and dangerous sound is compressed.
- Single-battery power — One AA battery powers the headset, with auto shutdown after 4 h and a voice warning when 10% of battery remains; Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable batteries are also supported.
- MIL-tested electronics — Applicable tests have been made in accordance with MIL-STD-810H and EMC-MIL-STD-461G, and the electronics have RFI protection.
- SordinFLEX modularity — The SordinFLEX platform lets users reconfigure the headset without tools, with headband, neckband, ARC Rails and Rear ARC Rails suspensions available.
- Dual protection — Dual protection is supported, with SNR:40 and NRR:35 given for dual protection.
