Description
Active communications headset for tactical users, with slim cups and Rear ARC Rails suspension for helmet mounting, a left-mounted microphone and memory foam cushions.
The Sordin Supreme T2 CC is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications, built on the SordinFLEX modular design platform. This configuration is black and uses Rear Arc Rails suspension, memory foam cushions and a microphone on the left cup.
It is rated at SNR 30 dB under EN 352, with H 33 dB, M 28 dB and L 22 dB, and NRR 23 dB under ANSI S3.19. Attenuation was measured on an OPS-CORE FAST CARBON HIGH CUT HELMET, M/L, and the same helmet is named in the approved combination with R-ARC and memory foam/gel cushions.
The SordinHEAR2 audio system offers four audio profiles, Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off, and each selection is confirmed by voice feedback. Sound level limitation is set at a maximum of 82 dB(A), and the ambient microphones are waterproof.
Power comes from one AA 1.5V battery, with the Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable 3.7 V also supported, for an operating time of 120 hours with a Varta Ultra lithium cell. The headset is immersion tested submerged at 2 metres for 35 min and salt water tested, and applicable tests were made in accordance with MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G.
A fixed downlead connects the headset to a communication radio, hunting radio or mobile phone. Its plug options are single comm, 4 pin US Nato wiring of the TP120 type as standard, or 4 pin UK Nato wiring, and the fixed boom microphone is noise compensating.

- Dual protection — Dual protection is supported, with SNR:40 / NRR:35 given for the combination with earplugs.
- Single-battery power — One battery runs the headset, with auto shutdown after 4 h and a voice feedback warning when 10% remains.
- SordinFLEX modularity — The suspension can be reconfigured without tools, with headband, neckband, ARC Rails and Rear ARC Rails models available.
- MIL testing — Applicable tests were made in accordance with MIL-STD-810H and EMC-MIL-STD-461G.
- Sound level limitation — The sound level is limited to a maximum of 82 dB(A).
