Description
Active communications headset with a fixed downlead and left-mounted boom microphone, designed for operators in demanding tactical applications and high-noise environments.
The Sordin Supreme T2 CC is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications, built on the SordinFLEX modular design platform. This configuration is black, with a textile headband suspension, memory foam cushions and the microphone on the left.
Attenuation in this configuration is SNR 29 dB under EN 352, with H 32 dB, M 27 dB and L 20 dB, and NRR 23 dB under ANSI S3.19. Combined with Sordin SoftEar earplugs it reaches SNR 40 dB and NRR 35 dB.
The SordinHEAR2 audio system offers four profiles: Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off. Sound level limitation holds the level inside the cups to a maximum of 82 dB(A), and the headset runs on one AA battery for 120 hours with Varta Ultra lithium, with auto shutdown after 4 h.
The headset is tested against relevant parts of MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G, is salt water tested and is immersion tested at a depth of 2 metres for 35 min. The factory-mounted downlead connects to a PTT, radio or other communication device, with a single-comm 4 pin US Nato wiring plug, TP120 type, as standard.

- SordinFLEX modularity — The SordinFLEX platform lets users reconfigure the headset without tools, with headband, neckband and helmet-mounted suspensions using ARC Rails or Rear ARC Rails available.
- Short decay time — A short decay time restores normal sound instantly after a shot.
- Dual protection — Used together with earplugs, the headset provides dual protection.
