Description
Active electronic communications headset on ARC Rails for helmet mounting, in black with a left-mounted microphone, for operators in demanding tactical work.
The Sordin Supreme T2 CC is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications. It is built on the SordinFLEX modular design platform and has slim cups that suit both left-handed and right-handed shooters.
This configuration is black, with ARC Rails suspension, memory foam cushions and the microphone mounted on the left. Attenuation measured on a Team Wendy EXFIL LTP helmet rail 3.0, size 1 M/L, is SNR 28 dB and H 29 dB / M 25 dB / L 21 dB under EN 352, with NRR 21 dB under ANSI S3.19.
SordinHEAR2 gives four audio profiles, Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off, with voice feedback confirming each selection, and sound level limitation holds output at a maximum of 82 dB(A). The headset runs on one AA 1.5V battery, with the Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable 3.7 V also supported, for up to 120 hours of operating time with a Varta Ultra lithium cell.
It is tested against relevant parts of MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G, is salt water tested and is immersion tested by submersion at 2 metres for 35 min. A fixed downlead with a TP120 type plug connects it to a radio or other communication device, and the boom microphone is mounted on the left.

- Dual protection — Dual protection is supported, with SNR 40 and NRR 35 given for the combined use.
- SordinFLEX modularity — The SordinFLEX platform lets users change suspension, boom microphone, headband covers and cushions without tools for the suspension.
- Noise-compensating microphone — The adjustable, noise-compensating boom microphone supports clear voice perception in noisy environments.
