This is a splashproof single-com push-to-talk system for compatible Sordin Supreme MIL communication headsets. It is a simple PTT box for one communication radio or mobile phone, and its rugged design suits outdoor use in harsh weather conditions.
This configuration carries the KL091 radio interface for Icom IC-F70 and similar radios. It is delivered as a complete assembly with headset connector, PTT box, coiled downleads and radio interface.
It connects to Sordin communication headsets with a male 4-pole Ø7.2 mm connector (type TP-120). Headsets of other brands with the same connector and correct wiring can also be used, after testing and verification.
