The MicroStream USB delivers 250 lumens, 1,150 candela and a 68 m beam on high for 1.5 hours, and 50 lumens, 250 candela and 31 m on low for 3.5 hours. A push-button tail switch gives momentary or constant-on operation.
The 350 mAh lithium-ion cell has an on-board safety circuit, recharges from virtually any USB power source and is charged again in 4 hours.
At 9.83 cm long and 34.1 g it stays out of the way, with an anodised aluminium body, an unbreakable polycarbonate lens and a removable pocket clip.
