Description
A 1-8x28 first focal plane riflescope with a red/green illuminated MRAD Segmented Circle reticle, for competitive shooters and tactical users who need close-range speed and distance precision.
The Credo 1-8x28 is a low power variable riflescope built for rapid target engagement and long-range precision from the same optic. Its 1-8x magnification, 28mm objective lens and 34mm tube are paired with fully multi-coated, broadband, anti-reflective glass for improved exit pupil and low light performance.
The MRAD Segmented Circle reticle sits in the first focal plane and is illuminated in red or green by an LED powered by one CR2032 battery, with 5 red and 5 green settings. It is designed for CQB and distance shooting in any environment.
This version has a matte black finish and exposed locking adjusters with 0.1 MRAD per click; no mount is listed among the included items.
Key features
- Both-eyes-open aiming — The illuminated reticle uses the Bindon Aiming Concept to give a clear aiming point that draws the eye for fast engagement.
- Dual-colour illumination — User-selectable LED brightness settings, 5 red and 5 green, have an off position in between each setting to adapt to any environment.
- Locking adjusters — Crisp windage and elevation adjusters need no tools, and the exposed locking adjusters prevent accidental shift.
- First focal plane — With the reticle in the first focal plane, the MRAD Segmented Circle can be used for ranging and holdovers across the magnification range.
- Wide field of view — An extra-wide field of view supports fast scanning, detection and tracking for situational awareness.
- Repositionable magnification lever — The magnification lever can be repositioned to suit different shooting positions and rifle configurations, and a knob with replacement screw is included.
- Easy-focus eyepiece — The diopter adjusts to the shooter's individual prescription.
- Rugged aluminium housing — The 6061 aircraft grade aluminium housing is engineered to withstand extreme conditions and tested to military standards and protocols.
Typical applications
- Close-quarters engagements where both-eyes-open speed at low magnification matters
- Distance shooting with holdovers on the reticle at higher magnification
- Competitive shooting that mixes near and far targets
- Tactical and law enforcement patrol rifles used in changing light
