Description
A medium black sit harness in a modular system for fast-moving technical teams in rescue, climbing, caving, tactical and military operations.
The Outback Convertible Harness is a lightweight modular system: every team member wears the belt, edge personnel add leg loops, and vertical technicians get the full ensemble. This medium sit harness is supplied in black.
It carries a certification of EN 12277:2015+A1:2018 and is tested to ASTM F1772-24, as printed in its certification row.
Key features
- Quick-connect waist belt — The waist belt is donned easily using the quick-connect Cobra Buckle.
- Slim belt profile — The narrow 5 cm (2 in) waist belt fits through most belt loops.
- MOLLE compatibility — The waist belt is compatible with a number of Molle attachments.
- Leg loops without opening — A patent-pending integration system adds leg loops without opening the belt.
- Quick-connect leg loops — Leg loops are closed by quick-connect Cobra Buckles, so they assemble in seconds.
- Stable on the body — The leg loop connection is highly stable and maintains its position on the body.
- Aluminium D-ring — The aluminium D-ring is more durable than fabric and fits multiple connections without cross loading.
- Chest unit option — A chest unit can be integrated without opening the sit harness, letting teams use the sit harness until a full body unit is preferred.
- Optional rear straps — Rear straps are optional, lightweight and removable if no longer desired.
Typical applications
- Rescue and access work by fast-moving technical teams in remote areas.
- Climbing and caving operations.
- Tactical and military operations in backcountry terrain.
